Our clients visiting the Forbidden City
This morning we will first head for the solemn Tiananmen Square, commonly known as the symbol of China. Passing through Tiananmen Tower, we will arrive at the neighboring Forbidden City, where in the past the imperial family lived for more than 500 years. The stunning palaces are well preserved, with crimson columns and eaves decorated with colored glaze. Besides the magnificent architecture, you will surely be amazed at the numerous treasures stored in this museum.

Then an a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) will be served at a very nice restaurant where you can taste authentic Chinese food.

The next stop is the Temple of Heaven, which was used by the ancient emperors to worship the heaven and wish for a good harvest in feudal times. After that, we will escort you back to the hotel.

Meals: Western buffet breakfast, A la carte lunch
Day 3 Beijing
Today let's explore the Great Wall at Mutianyu section, a representative segment of this great military construction, and the highlight of this private 7 days China itinerary. The round trip cable car is included. From a distance, the wall looks like a giant dragon as it winds along its way. Standing on the beacon tower, you can have an imposing view of the surrounding mountains. You will always remember this amazing visit.

As the nearby restaurants are not so good, lunch has not been arranged. For that reason we suggest you bring some snacks with you. Alternatively, there are fast food outlets near the wall and our guide will be happy to offer suggestions.

Next we will visit the Sacred Way, where there is a series of ancient stone buildings, such as archway stele and statues of officials and animals. We will drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) and see its outstanding appearance on our way back to the hotel.
