After a short break, your Shanghai Huangshan tour package will start with visits to the Bund, Nanjing Road and an old cultural zone - Tianzifang. Situated along the west bank of the Huangpu River, the Bund is a 4-kilometer-long waterfront where stand 52 buildings in different architectural styles, such as Baroque, Gothic, Romanesque, Chinese and Renaissance. Nanjing Road is the No.1 shopping street in China, where both time-honored Chinese and world-famous brands can be easily found. Tianzifang, evolved from Shanghai's most distinctive Shikumen complex, is now a fashionable creative gathering area favored by young people.
Day 2 Shanghai to Huangshan by High Speed Train
The Bund, Shanghai
Today's morning excursion will take you to visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yu Garden. The Museum houses over 120,000 pieces of cultural relics, especially the ancient artworks like bronze, ceramics, calligraphy and paintings. The Yu Garden, a representative of the classical gardens in southern China, boasts beautiful scenery of wooden bridges, old style houses, carved dragon wall, ponds and pavilions, mountain-like rock, and greenly garden. It is also a tranquil land in the bustling city. Around noon, you will feast on an a la carte welcome lunch of authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines at an elegant restaurant.

After lunch, you will visit the Shanghai World Financial Center. With a height of 492 meters (about 1,614 feet), you are able to get great and unobstructed views of this city on the 100th floor observation deck. After that, your Yellow Mountain tour from Shanghai will proceed to Huangshan. Your guide will transfer you to the train station to catch the high-speed train. After an about 3-hour train ride, the local guide will meet you at the station and transfer you to the hotel in downtown Huangshan.

Day 3 Huangshan
Mt. Huangshan
In the morning, we will transfer you in a comfortable vehicle to the foot of the Huangshan Mountain, and then your guide will accompany you to take a cable car for around 10 minutes to the Yuping Building. On the cable car, you could look far down at the Tiandu Peak, look closely at the Lotus Peak as well as overlook the mountains and streams, which will bring you a fantastic and unforgettable experience.

After getting off the cable car, you will firstly enjoy the scenery of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak, renowned for the grotesque rocks and pines. As its name suggests, you will really begin to believe that the scenery of the mountain is captivating and intoxicating from here. The shaped rocks hanging on the steep cliffs together with the deep valleys create a charming natural painting. After that, proceed to the Peach Blossom Peak, where there are numerous peach trees. When the peach trees blossom in March and April every year, the peak will be an ocean of peach flowers, making it a wonderland under heaven. The next stop will be the Lion Peak, which is situated to the west of the Beginning-to-Believe Peak. The rock at the peak is exposed like a powerful lion crouching on the mountain, hence the name. Then, you will continue the trip to the Flying Stone. It is actually a 39-feet-high, 8-meter-long, and about 360-ton piece of rock balanced on a tiny flat ledge. The space between the two large pieces of rock is very small and the erecting rock is just like flying over from the heaven, hence getting the name of the Flying Stone. It is a typical Huangshan Mountain's incomparable natural beauty.

The last site you will explore today is the Bright Summit, one of the highest peaks of the mountain. Standing on it, you could appreciate the wonderful scenery of the East Sea Scenic Area, the mountain peaks in West Sea Scenic Area and the surrounding peculiar rocks. Tonight, you will stay over at the best hotel on the mountain.

Meals: Western buffet breakfast, Lunch
Day 4 Departure from Huangshan
Yellow Mountain at sunrise
The morning sightseeing will cover the Cloud Dispersing Pavilion and Xihai Grand Canyon. The Cloud Dispersing Pavilion, a sightseeing pavilion, is one of the best sites to appreciate the charming scenery of the mountain. Standing in the pavilion, you could look up to the innumerable towering peaks of the West Sea as well as have a bird's view of the deep and wide Xihai Grand Canyon. Xihai Grand Canyon, a 9-mile-long U-shaped canyon, is the deepest and most beautiful scenic area of the Huangshan Mountain. Besides the sea of cloud, it is also noted for the abundant grotesque peaks and varied stones.

After lunch, you will be escorted to get down the mountain by cable car. Your pleasant Huangshan tour from Shanghai will come to the end as we transfer you to the airport or railway station and see you off.
