After a brief introduction to this private Beijing 2-day tour package, we will go to visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Constructed more than 500 years ago during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), Tiananmen Square has witnessed the great development of the country. When you walk to the northern end of the square and cross Chang'an Avenue, you will come to the Forbidden City. Known as the largest imperial palace complex in the world, the Forbidden City has more than 70 palaces of different sizes and over 9,000 rooms, where to store a large collection of historical and cultural relics. The typical royal buildings of high red walls capped with golden roofs will take you back to the prosperous Ming and Qing dynasties  (1368 - 1911). Then, this Beijing 2 days itinerary will be extended to the Jingshan Park. As you ascend to the top of the hill in the park, you will get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from Wanchun Pavilion.

In the afternoon, we take a visit to the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors worshiped the God of Heaven for good harvests in ancient times. As a kind of cultural behavior to pray for blessings, worshipping the Heaven had more than 5,000 years’ history and was once an important part of the life of ancient Chinese predecessors. The ceremony had been abolished in the Republic of China and the Temple of Heaven has been changed into a large forest park now. More than a historical site, it is also a good place for locals to exercises and relax. Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel.
