Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your individual activities. For dinner on your own arrangement, there are suggestions around our luxury series hotel and standard series hotel.

Day 2 Beijing
Your tour today begins with the famous
Tiananmen Square, which ranks as the largest city square in the world. Walking to the northern end of the square, you will get to the
Forbidden City. The large quantity and magnificent imperial buildings with red walls and golden roofs will display you the glorious Chinese history of the Ming and Qing dynasties between the 14th and the early 20th centuries. Around noon, an a la carte lunch of authentic Chinese food will be served for you at a very nice local restaurant, which is quite different from the tourist eateries as the most are doing now. In the afternoon, you will visit the
Temple of Heaven, which was the holy altar for the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to worship the gods. Tonight, a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will be arranged for you to enjoy a perfect performing combination of Chinese martial arts, acrobatic show and dance.

Day 3 Beijing
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites -
Badaling Great Wall. Like a huge dragon winding its way over the rolling mountains, the Great Wall, doted with the solid beacon towers, stretches for several miles. As for lunch today, we will drive you to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the wall to have delicious Sichuan food at a popular local restaurant. Then walk through the
Sacred Way and reach the
Ming Tombs, which is the graveyard for the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. In this 600-year-old site, you will learn the special funeral customs in ancient China. On the way back to downtown, when driving by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium), you will have brief stop near the huge nest.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian
After breakfast, you will visit the most famous royal garden in China, the
Summer Palace. Built some 200 years ago, the garden is well-known for its charming natural landscape and wonderful garden designs. Enjoy the old Beijing culture and local customs by visiting narrow alleys, also called Hutongs. You may take a special rickshaw riding through various
Hutongs and enjoy the prosperous street view with dazzling goods on sale. Through a visit to the local family, you will get a further understanding of the old Beijing characteristics. After having an a la carte lunch at a decent restaurant, you will fly to Xian, where your local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and transfer you to check in the hotel.

Day 5 Xian
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xian
In the morning, you could experience a memorable tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Besides of the thousands of neatly arranged warriors and horses, you will also see the exquisite bronze chariots and weapons. Your a la carte lunch is served at the best local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit one of the landmarks of Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a seven-storey pagoda built over 300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. After that, you will turn to the Great Mosque located in the city center. Separated from the bustling city, the time-honored mosque will show you both of the traditional Chinese architectural style and Muslim culture. Tonight, for clients of luxury series, you will watch the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace (Addr: No.75 Chang'an Road, Xian). While standard series clients will taste a local Dumpling Dinner and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance and Music Show at Shaanxi Opera Theater (Addr: No. 165, Wenyi Road, Xian).

Day 6 Xian – Chongqing

You will explore the ancient City Wall of Xian this morning. While walking on the flat top of the wall, you could see both of the ancient and modern profiles of this city. Later, you are going to Chongqing by air and meet your local guide at the airport. A brief city tour to the Panda House of Chongqing Zoo will be arranged if time allows. Finally, the guide will escort you to board the deluxe 5-star New Century cruise ship – Century Sun, and your memorable downstream Yangtze River tour will begin at around 23:30.

Day 7 Chongqing – Fengdu
Yangtze River cruise tour
The river guide will give a brief introduction of the cruise and the daily schedule after breakfast. Then you will have the rest of the morning to wander around on the deck and enjoy the charming scenery along Yangtze River. In the afternoon, you will disembark and take a unique onshore excursion to the Snowy Jade Cave, which is famous for various shapes of snow-white stalagmites and stalactites. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held tonight.

Day 8 Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
The essential part of your Yangtze River cruise is coming today. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. The first Qutang Gorge is the shortest but the grandest one. Proceeding to the next Wu Gorge, you will find a large number of lofty peaks and mountains on both sides. An interesting junk adventure along the narrow and zigzag Shennong Stream will expect you here, which lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Afterwards, the ship will continuously sail into the Xiling Gorge and pass the Five Level Ship Lock in the evening.

Day 9 Yichang - Shanghai
Today, an onshore excursion will be arranged for you to see the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydropower project in the world. After returning to the ship, please pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. Your Yangtze River Cruise will come to the end when the ship disembarks in Yichang. You will have lunch in downtown Yichang and then visit Yichang Museum if time permits. Later, a flight will transfer you to Shanghai and your guide will be waiting for you at the airport.

Day 10 Shanghai

Your one day Shanghai Tour will be started at Shanghai Museum and then Yuyuan Garden this morning. A luxurious western buffet lunch will be specially served for you today, since we believe that you may have quite enjoyed Chinese food during the tour and are beginning to miss your western meal. After lunch, you will come to the Bund area and take a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River to see the elite of this city leisurely. Free time will be left after the cruise so that you could explore the Bund on your own. This evening, our luxury series clients will enjoy a palatable a la carte farewell dinner of authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines at a noted local restaurant and then appreciate the popular Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. Our standard series clients will arrange the dinner on your own. You can choose to return to the hotel directly or continue strolling around the Bund area, then get back to the hotel by yourself.

Day 11 Departure from Shanghai
