Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for your individual activities. For dinner on your own arrangement, there are suggestions around our luxury series hotel and standard series hotel.

Day 2 Beijing
Your tour today begins with the famous Tiananmen Square, which ranks as the largest city square in the world. Walking to the northern end of the square, you will get to the Forbidden City. The large quantity and magnificent imperial buildings with red walls and golden roofs will display you the glorious Chinese history of the Ming and Qing dynasties between the 14th and the early 20th centuries. Around noon, an a la carte lunch of authentic Chinese food will be served for you at a very nice local restaurant, which is quite different from the tourist eateries as the most are doing now. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, which was the holy altar for the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to worship the gods. Tonight, a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at the Red Theatre will be arranged for you to enjoy a perfect performing combination of Chinese martial arts, acrobatic show and dance.

Day 3 Beijing
Great Wall, Beijing
You will be accompanied by our local professional guide to one of the greatest world heritage sites - Badaling Great Wall. Like a huge dragon winding its way over the rolling mountains, the Great Wall, doted with the solid beacon towers, stretches for several miles. As for lunch today, we will drive you to escape the shopping site tourist restaurants near the wall to have delicious Sichuan food at a popular local restaurant. Then walk through the Sacred Way and reach the Ming Tombs, which is the graveyard for the 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty. In this 600-year-old site, you will learn the special funeral customs in ancient China. On the way back to downtown, when driving by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium), you will have brief stop near the huge nest.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian
After breakfast, you will visit the most famous royal garden in China, the Summer Palace. Built some 200 years ago, the garden is well-known for its charming natural landscape and wonderful garden designs. Enjoy the old Beijing culture and local customs by visiting narrow alleys, also called Hutongs. You may take a special rickshaw riding through various Hutongs and enjoy the prosperous street view with dazzling goods on sale. Through a visit to the local family, you will get a further understanding of the old Beijing characteristics.  After having an a la carte lunch at a decent restaurant, you will fly to Xian, where your local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and transfer you to check in the hotel.

Day 5 Xian
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Xian
In the morning, you could experience a memorable tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum which is said to be the Eighth Wonder of the world. Besides of the thousands of neatly arranged warriors and horses, you will also see the exquisite bronze chariots and weapons. Your a la carte lunch is served at the best local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit one of the landmarks of Xian, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is a seven-storey pagoda built over 300 years ago in the Tang Dynasty. After that, you will turn to the Great Mosque located in the city center. Separated from the bustling city, the time-honored mosque will show you both of the traditional Chinese architectural style and Muslim culture. Tonight, for clients of luxury series, you will watch the marvelous Tang Dynasty Dinner Show at the Tang Dynasty Palace (Addr: No.75 Chang'an Road, Xian). While standard series clients will taste a local Dumpling Dinner and enjoy the Tang Dynasty Dance and Music Show at Shaanxi Opera Theater (Addr: No. 165, Wenyi Road, Xian).

Day 6 Xian – Chongqing

You will explore the ancient City Wall of Xian this morning. While walking on the flat top of the wall, you could see both of the ancient and modern profiles of this city. Later, you are going to Chongqing by air and meet your local guide at the airport. A brief city tour to the Panda House of Chongqing Zoo will be arranged if time allows. Finally, the guide will escort you to board the deluxe 5-star New Century cruise ship – Century Sun, and your memorable downstream Yangtze River tour will begin at around 23:30.

Day 7 Chongqing – Fengdu
Yangtze River cruise tour
The river guide will give a brief introduction of the cruise and the daily schedule after breakfast. Then you will have the rest of the morning to wander around on the deck and enjoy the charming scenery along Yangtze River. In the afternoon, you will disembark and take a unique onshore excursion to the Snowy Jade Cave, which is famous for various shapes of snow-white stalagmites and stalactites. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held tonight.

Day 8 Badong - Xiling Gorge - Sandouping
Fantastic Yangtze cruise
The essential part of your Yangtze River cruise is coming today. You will appreciate the unique scenery of the Three Gorges. The first Qutang Gorge is the shortest but the grandest one. Proceeding to the next Wu Gorge, you will find a large number of lofty peaks and mountains on both sides. An interesting junk adventure along the narrow and zigzag Shennong Stream will expect you here, which lasts about 3 to 4 hours. Afterwards, the ship will continuously sail into the Xiling Gorge and pass the Five Level Ship Lock in the evening.

Day 9 Yichang - Shanghai
Today, an onshore excursion will be arranged for you to see the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydropower project in the world. After returning to the ship, please pack your luggage and complete check-out procedures. Your Yangtze River Cruise will come to the end when the ship disembarks in Yichang. You will have lunch in downtown Yichang and then visit Yichang Museum if time permits. Later, a flight will transfer you to Shanghai and your guide will be waiting for you at the airport.

Day 10 Shanghai

Your one day Shanghai Tour will be started at Shanghai Museum and then Yuyuan Garden this morning. A luxurious western buffet lunch will be specially served for you today, since we believe that you may have quite enjoyed Chinese food during the tour and are beginning to miss your western meal. After lunch, you will come to the Bund area and take a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River to see the elite of this city leisurely. Free time will be left after the cruise so that you could explore the Bund on your own. This evening, our luxury series clients will enjoy a palatable a la carte farewell dinner of authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisines at a noted local restaurant and then appreciate the popular Portman Acrobatic Show at Shanghai Centre Theatre. Our standard series clients will arrange the dinner on your own. You can choose to return to the hotel directly or continue strolling around the Bund area, then get back to the hotel by yourself.

Day 11 Shanghai - Istanbul
As your escorted sightseeing in China ends today, our guide will transfer you to Shanghai Airport on time according to the schedule of your onward flight to Istanbul, the first stop of the following Turkey tour package. As a country spanning from Europe to Asia and once a part of the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire and Ottoman Empire, Turkey is featured by some unique landscapes and rich in historical heritages, offering all its visitors a memorable trip.

Day 12 Istanbul Arrival
Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will see our local representative waiting for you holding a welcome board with your name on. Then, you will be transferred by our driver to the hotel which we have booked for you in advance. The rest time of the day will be free on your own. You can either have a good rest so as to start afresh tomorrow or explore the city on your own.

Activities Suggestion: To the west of the hotel about 6 minutes’ walking away, you will find Basilica Cistern, aka Sunken Palace, built to store water in case of war in old times. Inside, it is supported by 336 stone pillars measuring 9 meters (30 feet) high, very grand. Or you may walk southwest for a couple of minutes to find Cemberlitas Hamami, an ancient Turkish bath where you can relax yourself.

Day 13 Istanbul Old City
Today, our guide and the driver will offer you a full day guided tour in the Istanbul Old City area. The first stop will be the Hagia Sophia Museum which is a unique example of religious architecture combining Christian and Islamic style. Then, continue to visit the Blue Mosque featured by over 20,000 blue-and-white Iznik tiles interiorly, and the Hippodrome Square housing several historical relics including an Egypt obelisk and a Germany pavilion. 

After lunch, move on to the Topkapi Palace. It used to be the royal palace of Ottoman sultans from 1465 to 1853 before the Dolmabahce Palace, and now a museum displaying the unique architecture and precious relics. Then enjoy some shopping time in the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in the world. You may find some special souvenirs there. After today's sightseeing, transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 14 Bosporus Cruise, Fly to Izmir
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel, and then escort you to enjoy an amazing cruise on Bosphorus River, during which you will see the Dolmabahce Palace, churches, mosques, graveyards and Bosphorus Bridge.

After, transfer you to the airport and assist you to get on the plane to Izmir. Upon landing, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel in Kusadasi, a charming coastal town. After unpacking luggage, you may spend the rest time of the day strolling around.

Day 15 Full Day in Ephesus
The first stop we are going to visit today will be the Artemis Temple, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world built with white marbles and dedicated to the Moon God, Artemis. Then the guide will lead you to Ancient Ephesus City, which was once ruled by Greece and then Rome, hence an ancient Greek and Roman city. Inside it, you will see Temple of Hadrian, a splendid architecture for Roman emperor Hadrian at that time; Celsus Library, the oldest library worldwide; Theater, Old Harbor and more. Due to its large scale and well preserved architecture, Ancient Ephesus City has been listed as a UNESCO world culture heritage. 

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the House of Virgin Mary where is said Virgin Mary spent her last years. After, send you back to the hotel and you may continue to explore the seaside town on your own.

Day 16 Drive to Pamukkale, Fly to Cappadocia
After enjoying breakfast at hotel, we will leave the beautiful coastal town Kusadasi and head to Pamukkale by private car. It is about 2.5 hours' drive away. On arrival, have lunch at first and then the guide will escort you to explore around. Pamukkale is known as Cotton Castle, because the terraced white ponds formed by the deposited calcium carbonate just look like so. Please bring your swimwear as you may have a chance to swim in the ponds at extra fee. Then visit the ancient ruins of Hierapolis City still preserving big theatre; and Necropolis, a big burial site. 

This will be all of today’s guided sightseeing. After, the guide will transfer you to airport for you to take a flight to Cappadocia, famous for the landscapes similar to the moon surface. Once landing, our local driver will pick you up and send you to the hotel to settle down.

► Tips: Hot Air Balloon Ride is one of the must-dos for travelers to Cappadocia. If you plan to try it, please let us know in advance because the seats are limited.

Day 17 Cappadocia
Cappadocia, one of the world's top ten gorgeous scenic spots, presents many different valleys for the visitors to enjoy their grandeur and beauty. After breakfast, our local guide will escort you to travel through the Goreme Valley to Uchisar, a fortress carved out on a 60-meter-high (200 feet) giant rock. After that, head to Goreme Open-Air Museum, with many cave churches and monasteries. They were dwelled by Christians about 1,000 years ago who came here to escape from persecutions.  

After lunch, we will go to Devrent Valley and Monks Valley featured by stone pillars, followed by Avanos, which is also known as the Pottery Town because it specializes in making red pottery. Lastly, watch the amazing sunset at Rose Valley before going back to the hotel.

Day 18 Cappadocia
After breakfast, follow the guide to enjoy a hike in Lhlara Valley. On the way, visit the various churches. What's worth mentioning is that we will walk for almost 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) in the morning, so wear a pair of hiking shoes. After that, have lunch along the bank of Melendiz River in Lhlara Valley. Then after a short break, cross the Nar Crater Lake to visit the Selime Cathedral and the largest underground city in the region- Kaymakli Underground City. At last, conclude the day in Pigeons Valley with numerous pigeons' nests.

Day 19 Fly to Istanbul, Half-Day Istanbul Discovery
In the morning, the driver will pick you up and send you to the airport for you to fly back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, our guide based there will show you around the Spice Bazaar and Dolmabahce Palace. Different from the Grand Bazaar we will have visited on day 2, the Spice Bazaar offers more species and local medicines and smells fragrant. Dolmabahce Palace is also called New Royal Palace because it was built for Sultans after Topkapi Palace. Located by the Bosporus Strait, it is very luxury. Stay overnight in Istanbul.

Day 20 Departure from Istanbul
Today, our Turkey tour will come to an end as the driver transfer you to the airport in Istanbul for your homeward flight. Hope you have a pleasant journey!
