Would you know where I can get any information about that bus that goes straight to JinShanLing?

May said it leaves the station at 7:30am. What time does it depart JinShanLing?

Are there good reasonable places to eat at JinShanLing as well?

Thank you

I just came from JinShanLing. If this tourist bus exists and the price is just 100 yuan you should get it.

Entrance at Jin Shan Ling was already at 60 RMB and the cable car was already at 40 RMB! Not to mention getting a minivan/bus from Miyun County is quite troublesome if you go on a weekday because there are not that many passengers.

I'll write about my experience soon.
email me at sunjun79@gmail.com if you have further questions.

To Steffi,
yes, the information is up to date. and yes, the one-day tour to Jinshanling cost CNY 100.
but the tourist bus runs only at weekends and Chinese public holiday between April 4 and November 1.

Are the informations still up to date? it really sounds amazing, but I just can't imagine that all fees are in 100 RMB included ...

Hi Gwen!

Did you go already?
How was your experience?

I saw in another site that the bus ride costs 15 RMB while the minibus is 10RMB.

Was it easy to go to and come back to beijing from Jinshanling? I would appreciate any info you can give. Thanks!

Hi bob,
it is hard to say weather it will snow or not this Feb., but it's get warmer and warmer.
if is snows, you may try the Mutianyu Great Wall, or Jiankou Great Wall.

We are spending the night in Jinshanling in sleeping bags on April 20, 2011. We are the only ones booked for that night. We would like to tour Baddling the following morning. Is there a public bus or any transportation that runs from Jinshanling to Baddling? What is the cost?

No direct bus from Jinshanling to Badaling. You have to take a bus to Miyun County, and then take a long-distance bus to Yanqing to take bus no. 919 to badaling. Or you can go back to Dongzhimen of Beijing first from Jinshanling, then take bus no. 44 to deshengmen to take bus no. 919 to badaling.
