We are looking for a cheaper option. Are there any busses from Beijing to Qingdao and where do they depart from?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi, Cecilie
The Beijing-Qingdao coaches depart from the Yongdingmen Long-distance Bus Station and Zhaogongkou Long-distance Bus Station. The tickets are priced between CNY 130 and CNY 160. But the cheapest way should be the T25 train, of which the hard seat ticket is priced at CNY 116.

We are in Beijing now but hope to move on to Qingdao as soon as. Is it possible to do the trip by bus and which busstation?
Thanks a lot!

Why not choose the express train, which only takes about 6 hours?

we will arrive in Beijing on 29th of April and leave on 1st of May to go to Tianjin by Intercity Train. We still need the train tickets and hopefully there will be enough time. How do we get after arrival from Tianjin Station to Xingang port? (cruise terminal)
Thank you for your help!

Thanks for enquiry.

You mean from Tianjin Railway Station to Tianjin Port? Should you take the bus, you can firstly catch the No. 605, 621, 805 or 815 bus to the Tanggu Railway Station, where you transfer to No.102 bus to the port. Or you may take a taxi direct there.

I need to take train from Beijing to Tanggu on May 1st Since this is the beginning of the Holiday, will I have problem in getting a train ticket.

The railway transportion could be very busy during the May Day holidays. So our suggestion is that you book your ticket as soon as possible.

Now the pre-sale period for 'D', 'Z' and 'C' train tickets is 20 days while that for other trains is 10 days. We suggest you choose the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Train: C2271,C2273,C2275,C2277 and C2279, leaving Beijing South Railway Station at 07:20, 10:45, 12:35, 15:55 and 18:50. It takes 54 minutes to Tanggu Station.

Good luck and thanks for supporting beijingtrip.com!

We are group of 6 arriving beijing on 1st july, and like to go to Hong kong by train on 8th july. Would you kindly suggest me a web-site to book on-line which should be cheapest and with reasonable commision.

The No. Q97 train goes from Beijing West Railway Station to Kowloon, leaving at 13:08 and arriving at 12:56 (the next day). The prices for hard seat, soft seat, hard sleeper and soft sleeper are CNY 266, CNY 422, CNY 465 and CNY 738. You can buy the ticket directly at Beijing West Railway Station on the same day.

Have a nice trip and thanks for supporting beijingtrip.com!

My flight will land in Beijing on April 22, 2009 at 14:00. I am planning to directly go to HengShui, Hebei. Is there any train from Beijing to HengShui ? and what is the timetable?

If you arrive at 14:00, you can take the No. 1219 Beijing-Chongqing train at Beijing West Railway Station. It leaves Beijing at 14:50 and arrives in Hengshui at 17:49. Or you may choose the K571, leaving West Railway Station at 17:51 and arrives at 20:36.

We are a group of 14 arriving at Tianjin airport on 22/5/09 and wish to take fast train to Beijing. Which train will that be, how do we get to the train station and which station in Beijing will it arrive? Thanks

The fastest train between the two cities is the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Train. It runs between Tianjin Railway Station and Beijing South Railway Station.

From Tianjin Airport, you can take the No. 715 or No.621 bus at the Homeclub Supermarket (Dongli Store) and get to Tianjin Station directly.

Assuming advance tickets go on sale TEN days before departure what are the odds of getting a hard sleeper ticket on the 1163 to Pingyao if I arrive from London SIX days before departure... and go straight to Beijing-West Station? And how can I better the odds? Online bookings seem problematic!

Hello, Chris

We are afraid that we are not sure about this question, since the odds of getting train ticket depends on chance. The only thing we can suggest is that you avoid purchasing train ticket during China public holidays, such as the coming May Day Holiday and the Dragon Boat Festival, when the odds could be very slim.

You may go to the Capital Airport and take the airport bus which costs CNY 70 and takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes; or you can take a bus or taxi to Beijing South Railway Station where you can take the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity train at CNY 58, then you arrive in Tianjin within half an hour.

You may choose the following trains from Beijing to Shanghai: T103, T109, Z1, Z5, Z7, Z13 and Z21. The price for hard berth ticket is CNY 319. If you want a separate cabin, you may choose the soft berth which costs CNY 486 per person (kids less than 4.5 feet tall will enjoy a deduction of half hard-seat ticket price). But there are only four berths in each cabin.
