there is no direct bus, but you can take a bus to Erlian, and then take a bus to Zamin-Uued, and another bus to Ulan Bator.
or you may consider taking a train since there is direct train from Beijing to Ulan Bator.

There are four of us arriving at the Tianjin cruise port on June 20. What are the transportation options to get to the Beijing airport by 2:00 p.m. on that same day?

Lily :5/9/2012 6:49:51 PM

Hi Allen,
there is no direct buses or trains from the port to Beijing Airport.
if your luggage are not heavy, you can take a bus No. 513 to the last stop, and the light rail to the last stop, then a taxi to Tianjin Tianhuan Long-distance bus station to take the bus to Beijing airport. it takes about 5 hours on the way.
or you four can fire a taxi or van to the Beijing airport, remember to bargain with the driver.

Can anyone tell me which busnumber to take from Beijing to Datong? My wife and I both carry backpacks. Can these be stored in the busses? Thank you.

Not sure about the Bus No., but there is a board in front of the bus, on which are written with Chinese Characters of Beijing-Datong. At the bottom of the bus, there is a large storage room for store your luggage. Please don't worry.

Hi, can I buy the bus ticket from Datong to Beijing in advance when we are in Beijing? I read that there is first and second class large bus. What is the difference? Is there toilet in the bus? Thanks.

Mark :3/24/2012 7:46:38 PM

it seems that the bus tickets can't be booked in advance, but you can go to Datong Bus station to enquire about this to get an exact answer. The first class bus has less seats in, so there is more space between the seats that that of a second class bus. Meanwhile, the bus seat is more confortable in the first class bus. There is toilet in the bus.

Hi Jerry,
I suggest you take an early morning bus, because the it takes only 4 hours from Datong to Beijing. you can go to the Datong Long-distance Bus Station to take the bus departing at 08:00 or 09:00.
From Beijing to Chengde, you can go to the Sihui Long-distance Bus Station, or Liuliqiao Long-distance Bus station to take the early morning bus at around 06:00.
the last bus from Chengdu to Beijing departing at around 18:00.

3 of us are trying to go from Beijing to Guiyang, Guizhou (or Kaili, Guizhou, or anywhere close enough) for the Spring Festival. Train tickets are sold out, and flying is too expensive. Can we get there by long-distance bus? It seems it would take multiple transfers. Thanks!

Seems no long-distance bus from Beijing to any city in Guizhou Province. Although the flight ticket is expensive, but no other ways now.

hey im staying in the holiday inn express on wangjing road i want to take a bus to xi'an from beijing the trains are all sold out this time and i dont know what station is closest to me. price doesnt matter as long as its close and it goes to xian i dont care

The bus stations are also crowded now because of the Spring Festival Rush, so you have to prepare yourself for a long time queue. I have checked it for you that it seems Liliqiao Long-distance Bus Station is the only station having buses to Xian.
Personally, I advise you take a flight instead.

I find that there are buses from Beijing Bawangfen Long-distance Bus Station to Harbin, but no on-line service for the ticket. It takes about 20 hours.
By the way, why not take a train? since it is safer to take a train for such a long trip.
