The fastest way is to take the Beijing-Tianjin bullet train.

From Chong Wen Men, you can take the Metro Line 5 (2RMB) to Liujiayao. Get out of the metro station from Exit A and walk westward to take Bus No. 652 (1RMB) to Beijing South Railway Station. Take the Beijing-Tianjin bullet train (First Class: 69RMB; Second Class:58RMB) to Tianjin Railway Station. Then you can take a taxi (around 50RMB) to Tianjin Binhai Airport. The total traveling time will roughly be about two and a half hours.

what's the difference between first & second class seat bullet train Beijing-Tianjin. Is there a limit to luggage weight and size? Thank you

Thanks for your inquiry.

Compared with the second class, the first class seat is a little broader and the aisle is wider. There is no difference on the limit of luggage weight and size.

What is the cost for the Beijing-Tianjin bullet train? Can I puchase ticket in advance?

The prices for the first and second class seats of Beijing-Tianjin bullet train are CNY 69 and CNY 58. You can purchase ticket at the railway station before you leave, since the train departs every 15 minutes.

The taxi fare from Beijing airport to Beijing South Railway Station will be at least 100 RMB and the traveling time is around 40 minutes. The Beijing-Tianjin bullet train departs every 15 minutes all day from 06:30 to 22:10. Tianjin Railway Station lies to the east side of Jiefangqiao, Hebei District of Tianjin.

Hey I am going to be taking the overnight train from Xian to Beijing which leaves at 2016 and arrives in Beijing at 0717. How longs would it take me to get from Beijing west station to Pek Capital Airport? and what is its best way to go to the airport?

BeijingTrip.com :8/10/2009 9:10:00 PM

The fast way from Beijing West Railway Station (BWRS) to Capital Airport is by subway. From BWRS you can take a bus (No.9,54,67,301 or 973) to Changchunjie, or you can take a taxi there which is faster; then take Metro Line 2 to Dongzhimen where you transfer to the Airport Line. The whole journey takes no more that 1.5 hours.

Hi, I will go to Taiyuan from Beijing this coming early August and will appreciate your kind assistance.

I was told to take the "Airport (Gray) Line from Beijing Capital International Airport" Terminal 2 or 3 and get off at Dongzhimen station. From there, I want to take a D train in Beijing West Train Station. How do I do that? Can I take Subway Line 2? and where do I get off?

Hi, I'll be in Beijing for 4 days then I plan to take a train to Xian. When should I buy the train tickets? Can I buy 1 hour before the trip? Or do I have to buy it days before?

Beijingtrip.com suggest you buy the ticket several days in advance. Since it is currently the tourist season, tickets between tourist cities like Beijing and Xian are sometimes are not easy to purchase.

Here we suggest you go to Beijing South Railway Station and take Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Train to Tianjin Tanggu Railway Station which is very near Xingang. So you can just take a taxi there.

1. Does Peiking train station has on-line reservation from peiking to Shanghai?

2. Does the Peiking train station has a website address? If yes, what is the address?

3. If the Train station office accept payment from a United States Credit card?

BeijingTrip.com :6/29/2009 9:00:00 PM

Thanks for your inquiry.
1. Beijing Railway Station currently has no on-line reservation service for train tickets.
2. The website address of Beijing Railway Station is http://www.bjrailwaystation.com.cn/, but there is no English version.
3. As we know, the train station office do not have POS machines, so it is not likely to use the credit card.
