Day 02: Beijing
This morning, visit the Tiananmen Square, which is a must for the tourist visiting Beijing City. You will take about 1 hour to walk around in this largest square of the world. These dignified architectures and stately layout of the square make it an eye-catching place for any tourists who come to Beijing for the first time. Proceed to visit the Forbidden City and impressed by the grandness and magnificence of the world largest palace structure. The incomparable palace occupies an area of 720,000 square meters (177.9 acres) and has approximately 8,700 rooms.

After lunch, private transfer takes you to visit the Temple of Heaven, the grandest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times. The temple was constructed in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was enlarged during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the heaven. This evening, you will enjoy the Beijing Duck Dinner at a choice restaurant and the vivid Peking Opera show at the Liyuan Theatre.

In the afternoon, the Sacred Way, affiliated with the Ming Tombs, is a main attractions arranged for you. The road, seven kilometers (4.3 miles) long, has a stone memorial arch, Great Red Gate (Dahongmen), a stele pavilion, stone statues and the Dragon and Phoenix Gate (Longfengmeng). To the north of these figurines follow the Dragon and Phoenix Gate which marks the end of the Sacred Way. Then you will reach the Ming Tombs. It is the best representation of a tomb complex because of its fully restored complete surface structures, consisting of four bridges, a stele pavilion and halls. On the way to the downtown area, you will see the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) afar and take photos if time permitting. A la carte dinner at Wangfujing area is served for you this evening.

Day 04: Beijing
Today's relaxing visit provided an opportunity for a window into the natural Beijing people's life style and you have much more to see and experience. The initial stop Summer Palace acclaimed as a museum of gardens in China, for a visit to this garden bestow on sightseers a glimpse of representative scenes all over China. Then go to visit the largest and best-preserved lamasery in Beijing, Lama Temple (Yonghe Temple; Yonghe Lamasery). This resplendent architectural complex is endowed with the style of an imperial palace, making it distinctive from others. At the end of the day, have a Hutong Tour, to have a taste of the carrier and mirror of Beijing folk culture. When strolling in the Forbidden City or the Summer Palace, you can't help imagining the life of the imperial family. While visiting the hutongs in Beijing, you will gain a greater understanding of the common people as well as the history of the ancient yet modern Beijing.

Day 05: Exit Beijing
