Day 1 Arrival in Moscow
Welcome to join our best Russia tours to explore this large country spanning from Europe to Asia with long history, distinctive culture, rich historical relics and charming natural scenery. A train trip on the vast Siberia will also leave you life-long memories. 

Today upon landing in Moscow, you will meet our driver outside the customs of the airport, and then be transferred to a downtown hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangements.

Day 2 Moscow
This morning, we will set out for a 3-hour walking tour of Moscow city. With the company of our guide, you will have a visit to Bolshoi Theatre, Tverskaya Street, GUM Department Store, Red Square and the nearby St. Basil's Cathedral. After that, you will have a free afternoon exploring the city on your own.

Day 3 Depart Moscow
Today, you can spend the whole daytime taking one last exploration of Moscow by yourself. At night, our driver will escort you to Yaroslavsky Railway Station for your onward trans-Siberian train to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, and you will spend 5 nights in the comfortable cabin onboard.

Day 4 On the Train
Today, you will enjoy tranquil rustic landscape of Russia through the window as the train passes by numerous towns and villages. En route, you can get off to buy food and drinks on the platforms when the train takes stopovers.

Day 5 On the Train
The train will cross the Europe-Asia border early this morning and then arrive in Ekaterinburg. You will have a glimpse of prosperous cityscape on the train. After leaving Ekaterinburg for a while, you will enjoy distinctive natural scenery of swamps and pine forests from the window.

Day 6 On the Train
The train will pass by Krasnoyarsk City in the morning and then traverse rolling hills and a large stretch of forests. Sometimes there are clear rivers and ponds dotted at the foot of the mountains or in the midst of towering trees.

Day 7 On the Train
After passing Irkutsk at dawn, the train will run along the shore of Lake Baikal and then pull into Naushki Railway Station, located on the Russia-Mongolia border, for you to take border formalities. As the train ride continues, you will enjoy endless prairie through the window.

Day 8 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar
You will arrive in Ulaanbaatar train station in Mongolia early this morning. Our local guide and driver will meet you outside the exit and then transfer you to the hotel where you can fresh up and take a rest. Later, the private Mongolia tours will start with the visit to the most famous and the largest Gandan Monastery in the country. Then, follow the guide to walk around Chinggis Khaan Square to find out how local people spend their free time. Later on, we will move to Zaisan Hill Memorial, standing on the top of the mountain, you'll have a panoramic view of Ulaanbaatar. We will treat you a welcome dinner with local dance & music show.

Day 9 Karakorum - Erdene Zuu
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Karakorum (Kharkhorin), it used to be the capital of the Great Mongolia Empire. And then visit the most ancient temple, Erdene Zuu, It is located on the open grassland on the right bank of the Orkhon River, and walk around this river.

Day 10 Elsen Tasarkhai Semi Gobi - Hustai National Park
We will start our return trip to Ulaanbaatar today. Firstly, we will drive to Elsen tasarkhai, the semi Gobi, a magnificent place with both Gobi and oasis, visit a local herder family and ride a camel for one hour to explore around. Continue to Hustai National Park to see wild horses, well know as Takhi, or The Przewalski Horses.

Day 11 Hustai - Ulaanbaatar
Ride a horse to hiking around this nature reserve, Drive back to Ulaanbaatar in the afternoon and we will leave the rest of day free for you. You can do some shopping for souvenirs and cashmere in Ulaanbaatar.

Day 12 Ulaanbaatar - Beijing
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the railway station for an overnight train to Beijing, China. After traversing boundless steppe and desert, you will arrive at Zamyn-Ude at night to go through immigration check, and then enter the territory of China.

Day 13 Arrival in Beijing
You will arrive at Beijing Railway Station in late morning. Our local guide and driver will be waiting for you outside the exit and offer you a private transfer to the hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day to either rest at the hotel or stroll around.

Day 14 Beijing
Forbidden City
Your private exploration in Beijing begins today with a visit to the Tiananmen Square, the heart of the whole China where many constructions of historical and monumental significance stand. Strolling to its north end, you will reach the world's largest and best-preserved imperial palace complex, the Forbidden City, where 24 emperors had lived with their families.

In the afternoon, we will first drive to the Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperors worshiped the Heaven to pray for grain harvests and rainfall. It is the existing largest and highest ranking complex of the sacred places in China.

Afterwards, your 5 days Beijing tour package continues to the Hutongs, which are the typical lanes or narrow streets between rows of courtyard houses. Different from the Forbidden City, Hutongs represent and show the lives of the ordinary people in Beijing. An interesting rickshaw ride here will add much joy to your travel.

Day 15 Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall
In the morning, we will travel to Mutianyu to visit one of the greatest man-made projects on earth, the China Great Wall. which is definitely the highlight of your 5 day Beijing tour. A round-way cable car has been included, but you can also choose to take a chairlift up and a toboggan down the wall, which is more exciting and popular among young travelers. On the dragon-like winding wall, you will not only appreciate the beacon towers lying at some advantageous strategic forts, but also enjoy the charming natural scenery around the wall.

On the way back to the downtown Beijing in the afternoon, we will stop off at the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium), where you could admire the marvelous building at close quarters. At last, before heading back to the hotel, we will go to explore a famous local market.

Day 16 Beijing
Our clients visiting the Lama Temple
The morning excursion will take you to the Beijing Zoo to see the squabby and lovely giant pandas which are the China’s national treasure. Then, we will drive to a well-preserved royal garden, the Summer Palace. Renowned for its beautiful landscape and spectacular architecture, the Summer Palace has been listed in the World Heritage Sites and is considered as one of the most classical gardens in the world. Afterwards, continue your Beijing itinerary 5 days to visit the Lama Temple, the largest and best-preserved Tibetan Buddhist monastery in this city. Lastly, we will head to visit the Guozijian, which was the highest institution for academic research and learning during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties (1271-1911).

Day 17 Departure from Beijing
Your Russia to Beijing tour via Mongolia will come to the end after visiting the 798 Art Zone, which is an interesting district full of galleries, design studios, art exhibitions, artists' studios, fashion boutiques, restaurants and bars. Spend your leisure time there. Then we will transfer you to the airport and help you board on the flight back home. Wish you a nice journey!
