Day 02: Beijing
This morning, your tour guide will meet you at the lobby of the hotel and transfer you to the visit the famous Tiananmen Square, the geographical center of Beijing City. With the towering Monument to the People's Heroes at the center, Tiananmen Square has the magnificent Tiananmen Tower in the north, the solemn Mao Zedong Memorial Hall in the south, the National Museum of China in the east and the Great Hall of the People in the west. Surrounded by these lofty buildings, the Square looks most splendid and majestic and attracts many tourists every day.
Walk to the north end of the Square, you will reach the Forbidden City, the second stop of your whole day tour. It was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the construction of this group of buildings took fourteen years from 1406 to 1420. In the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it was the imperial palace where twenty-four emperors ascended the throne and exercised their strong power to the nation. Times have changed over the years, but we're lucky to have chance to show you the precious possessions abound in our country.
After a rich lunch at a nice restaurant, visit the Temple of Heaven in the afternoon which is the grandest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times. This evening, you will be rewarded by the tasty Duck Dinner and vivid Opera Performance at Liyuan Theatre.

Day 03: Beijing
Today, you will have a chance to conquer the imposing Badaling Great Wall. Like a gigantic dragon, this imposing wall meanders across mountains, spans vast plains and trudges through the barren deserts of China's northern interior. It is such a spectacular and formidable architectural feat that anyone who comes to China should not miss it under any circumstances. Lunch is served at a famous restaurant with Sichuan Flavor (hot).
In the afternoon, you will initially visit the Ding Tomb, which is the only one excavated in this graveyard of the Ming Tomb up till now. Then follow a visit to the Summer Palace featuring hundreds of architecturally distinct buildings, halls, pavilions, pagodas, bridges and corridors dispersed among magnificent and elegant gardens. It needs about 2 hours to go around the entire park and unexpected thing awaits you during the sightseeing. On the way back, you will have a glance at the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium) afar and take some photos before the Stadium if time permitting. An a la carte dinner is specially served at the Wangfujing area, very close to your hotel, and you need no time back to your hotel for rest after the dinner if you feel very tired. Otherwise, just let the guide go home and ramble at this famous shopping area to find some interesting souvenirs.

Day 05: Lhasa
Have you already longed for discover in this mystical land and ready to go? After breakfast, you together with your tour guide will set out to the splendid Potala Palace. This grand palace on Red Hill, on the northwest outskirts of Lhasa, silently overlooks the hustle and bustle life of ordinary people. It is composed of White Palace and Red palace. The former is for secular use while the later is for religious. It also serves the religious and political center of old Tibet and the winter palace of Dalai Lamas. Taking photos inside is strongly prohibited.
After a western-style lunch, continue the tour to the Sera Monastery. Sera keep a collection of murals in perfect, original condition. Its statues of Maitreya, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats are very noteworthy. Scriptures written in gold powder, scroll paintings, tapestry portrait of Jamchen Chojey, thangkas are characteristics of Sera. Then have some relaxing time in the Norbulingka Park. Khamsum Zilnon inside is a very eye-catching building behind the main gate and many splendid murals painted by a Fourteenth Dalai Lama's painter will be also collected there. At the end of the day, visit a Tibetan family and enjoy your a la carte dinner at a delicate restaurant served Sichuan cuisine.

Day 07: Lhasa Exit
