Day 01: Entry Beijing

You will be met upon arrival at Beijing Capital Airport and check into your hotel. The rest day is left free off schedule for your individual activities. No escorted tour is scheduled.

Day 02: Beijing   

After breakfast you are invited to attend the pre-tour briefing in the hotel, where you will meet the other members of your group. Start your China tour with the visit to the world largest city square of Tian'anmen Square. Just cross the famous Chang'an Avenue to enter the Forbidden City to appreciate this majestic royal court complex. An a la carte lunch will be arranged at a nice local restaurant at noon. In the afternoon the visit will be focused on the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperors pray for God blessing and harvest for the whole nation. Tonight you will be entertained by a lively Kungfu Show at the Red Theatre.

Day 03: Beijing 

Drive to visit Badaling section of the world famous Great Wall, one of the ancient construction wonders in the history. You will be given 1.5-2 hours to have a short excursion on the wall. To reward the energy lost in the morning, you will be transferred back to a fine local Sichuan food restaurant to have a decent lunch. In the afternoon you will move to visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb. You will be driven to appreciate the outlook of the splendid Olympic National Stadium, otherwise known as Bird’s Nest on the way back to downtown area.

Xian family visit

Day 04: Beijing  Xian  

Visit the Imperial garden Summer Palace where is the royalties' summer resort and then take a Hutong tour to fell the Beijing courtyard culture. You will enjoy an a la carte lunch at a popular local restaurant at noon. Afterwards, take an afternoon flight to the next ancient capital city, Xian. The local guide will pick you up at the Xian airport and transfer to check in at the well selected hotel.

Day 05: Xian

Drive to visit the remarkable significant archeological excavation of Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the morning, which is not to be missed for any visitors to China. We will serve a special homely cooked lunch at noon. In the afternoon go on with the city tour to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the landmark of ancient Xian, as well as the ancient City Wall. Cycling on the City Wall is quite popular among the foreign friends. If you cycle there, you need to pay the charge on the spot. This evening please enjoy the local Dumpling Banquet Dinner while you are entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show.

Li River cruise, Guilin

Day 06: Xian  Guilin

In the morning, you will have a stop at the Great Mosque and the Muslim Street nearby. After an a la carte lunch, take flight to the picturesque scenic city Guilin. Be met and escorted to check in at the hotel.

Day 07: Guilin
The Whole day’s schedule includes Reed Flute Cave, Seven Star Park and Elephant Trunk Hill.

Day 08: Guilin  Yangshuo

Take the memorable cruise along the Li River down to Yangshuo with lunch on board, fully soaked up into the fantastic picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wandering around on both sides of the river bank on the way. After checking in at the hotel, a special bicycle ride along the countryside will be an extraordinary experience of your trip, by which you can take a deep breath of the fresh air there and have a close touching of the local people's life. Alternatively, we will transfer you there instead of riding bicycles. You may also have a chance to take a family visit to the villager's home. Dinner is on your own side. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, Beijingtrip.com suggests that you have a rich breakfast at the hotel today.)

Shanghai City

Day 09: Yangshuo  Guilin  Shanghai

Transfer back from Yangshuo to Guilin airport directly to take a flight heading for your final stop, the largest metropolis in China, Shanghai. Be met and transferred to check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own. You are suggested to visit the newly developed area simulating the old Shanghai style, Xin Tian Di, which assembles dinning, entertainment, culture, fashion, shopping and tourism. You may find your preferred restaurant or café to arrange your dinner there.

Day 10: Shanghai

Visit the Shanghai Museum with large collection of rare cultural piece and the elegant Yuyuan Garden full of traditional flavor. A luxurious a la carte lunch will be arranged for you at noon. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to visit the famous Nanjing Road, the Bund along the Huangpu River and an old street in Shanghai. Afterwards, the tour guide will send you back to your hotel and bid farewell to you. Our escorted service ends here.

Day 11: Shanghai/ Exit
