Day 02: Beijing
Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. You will be served Beijing Roasted Duck for dinner at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

One of the most important activities for the entire Beijing trip is the brief hiking at the Great Wall, Badaling section. Sichuan food is arranged for lunch at a nice restaurant after a short drive. Continue the visit to the Ming Tomb and the Summer Palace in the afternoon. The a la carte dinner is served at a famous Cantonese cuisine restaurant in the Wangfujing area.

Day 04: Beijing 
Lhasa
Take a morning flight to Lhasa where the altitude is 3,650 meters above sea level. Check into the best hotel in Lhasa and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. The dinner is served at your hotel. Hotel : Four Pionts by Sheraton Hotel Meals : B, L, D
Day 05: Lhasa
Potala Palace, Tibet
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace in the morning and then a western style lunch is scheduled for you. Continue to visit the Sera Monastery and the Norbulingka Park in the afternoon. Day 06: Lhasa
Enjoy a full day religion excursion in Lhasa to the Jokhang Temple, the local bazaar of the Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory. A western style lunch is scheduled for you. Dinner served at your hotel. Hotel : Four Pionts by Sheraton Hotel Meals : B, L
Day 07: Lhasa Gyangtse
Drive to Gyangtse and visit the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain on the way.Check in at the hotel where the dinner is served. Hotel : Gyangtse Hotel Meals : B, L, D
Day 08: Gyangtse Shigatse
Visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street. Then transfer to Shigatse and check in at the hotel, where the dinner is served. Hotel : Shigatse Hotel Meals : B, L
Day 09: Shigatse
Sera Monastery, Lhasa Lhasa
After visit the Tashilhunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen, transfer back to Lhasa. Dinner is arranged at the hotel.

Day 10: Lhasa Shanghai
After visit a Tibetan Family, take flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel. Hotel : Majesty Plaza Shanghai Meals : B, L
Day 11: Shanghai
One full day is to explore Shanghai, including the sightseeing of the Shanghai Museum, the Yuyuan Garden and a short cruise along the Huangpu River. Dinner will be served at a fancy restaurant named Wang Bao He, which is the best place to sample Shanghai cuisine. Day 12: Shanghai/ Exit
Be at leisure until the hotel-airport transfer is arranged for you according to your homebound flight schedule. Meals : B
