Voltage

The voltage in Beijing is 220 volts

Photo Development

Both Kodak and Fuji photo development centers will provide with service of the highest quality. The shops can be found in many parts of Beijing.

Public Convenience

The toilets in Beijing are a great deal cleaner than before. They are signed with Chinese characters '厕所' or '公厕', most have the English versions, WC or Toilet. Free public toilets can be found at restaurants, supermarkets, internet bars, bus stations, subways, railway stations, and airports, or some scenic spots, yet it is not always the case. For those movable roadside toilets and other private toilets, usually CNY0.5 or CNY1 are charged. Foreigners in China should usually ask for 'WC', as this is understood in most places.

I think you may use your phone in China directly. If not, you may have to buy a new SIM card or a new phone which can support the SIM Card of China.
