Day 01: Entry Beijing 
Meeting on arrival and check in at the well selected hotel. The left hours of the day if any are on your side for free individual arrangements.

Day 02: Beijing 
One of the most important activities for the entire Beijing trip is the brief hiking at the Great Wall, Badaling section. Sichuan food is arranged for lunch at a nice restaurant after a short drive. Continue the visit to the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon.

Day 03: Beijing  Taiyuan 
Today's delightful highlights cover the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Leave for Taiyuan by overnight soft sleeper train.

Day 04: Taiyuan  Pingyao 
Morning arrival in Taiyuan and take car to Pingyao Ancient City. Check in at the well selected hotel. Visit Qiao Family's compound, the Shuanglin Monastery and the City Wall.

Day 05: Pingyao  Taiyuan  Beijing 

Ancient city exploration tours will cover the Ming - Qing Street, the Chenghuang Temple, the Ri Sheng Chang Financial House and the Tongxinggong ancient bank guard establishment. After lunch drive to Taiyuan and visit the Jinci Temple on the way. Return to Beijing by overnight soft sleeper train.

Day 06: Beijing 
Arrive and be met at the railway station in Beijing. Morning is at leisure. Escorted tour in the afternoon will include the Summer Palace and the Lama Temple. You will be served Beijing Roasted Duck for dinner at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 07: Beijing/ Exit
